From day one, I made a decision: I was going to build my business my way. No chasing people who didn’t want to be found. No showing up at strangers’ doors hoping for a conversation. Instead, I leaned into online marketing and social media - building momentum, creating content, generating leads in a way that actually felt sustainable. And it worked.
But it took a lot of figuring out. A lot of trial and error. And a lot of tools that were never really built for agents like me.
Then I started paying attention to what was happening around me. Talented, driven women in real estate - working harder than anyone - hitting the same walls I had. Not because they lacked ambition. Not because they didn’t know their market. But because they were operating without the right strategy, without the right tools, and without anyone in their corner who actually got it.
I kept thinking: someone needs to fix this.
I got into real estate and looked at the traditional playbook - cold calling, door knocking, grinding for every lead - and thought: absolutely not.
Turns out, I wasn't the only one.

I’m Tara - licensed real estate broker, SaaS founder, and the woman behind The Real Estate Edit. I’ve been in this industry long enough to have lived through every version of ‘this is how you grow your business’ - and built mine doing almost none of it.
My career started the way most do: figuring it out as I went, making mistakes, and slowly building something that worked. But unlike a lot of agents, I leaned into content and online marketing from the start. I built my brand, grew my audience, and generated leads through strategy rather than hustle - and it changed everything about how I thought a real estate business could run.
The more I shared what was working, the more I realized how many women were desperate for this kind of guidance. So I started teaching. I built The Real Estate Edit as a place for women in real estate to access real education, real strategy, and a community that actually wanted to see each other win.
For years, that was what TRE was - and it was working. But I kept running into the same problem. Agents would learn the strategy, get fired up, and then stall. Not because they didn’t understand what to do. But because the tools they needed to actually execute didn’t exist in one place.
